LIFT LEAN is the at-home resistance-training programme for women. A strength and resistance training programme for women who are peri-menopausal, menopausal and beyond. Doing your workouts at home are convenient, they give you time back, affordable, no childcare required and you can do them at a time that suits you. We all find it difficult to fit in our workouts but choosing to do them at home can make life a little easier.
Strength and resistance training makes such a difference to women aged 40+ and is proven to significantly reduce menopause symptoms.
We use hand weights, resistance bands and simply bodyweight in a variety of workouts – an all-in-one cardio and strength time efficient workout delivered straight to your home.
You choose which weights you work out with. If you are a complete beginner then you might like to start with filled water bottles or 1kg weights. As you progress you can then start to challenge yourself with heavier weights from 2kg upwards.
It has been proven that as we age, our metabolic rate lowers as a result of losing muscle mass. Following a resistance-based exercise plan can keep or increase your muscles mass which then increases your metabolic rate. This means you will burn more calories at rest, even when you sleep. It’s the best for of anti-ageing exercise with many other benefits too.
